What to Expect

Campers will be immersed in a high energy environment where they will learn valuable athletic and leadership skills. Our great team of volunteers will lead campers in drills and give insight into their specific sport of choice such as basketball, soccer and cheer. This camp is offered completely free of charge because we believe every child deserves an opportunity to learn, grow and make lifelong memories.   • Who can attend MEGA Sports Camp?

    Our MEGA Sports Camp is open to children ages 4-12 (Jk - Gr6) .

  • Is there a cost to attend?

    MEGA Sports Camp is free of charge.


    This is a free camp however if you would like to donate towards our MEGA Sports Camp, you are more than welcome to help us out! (Donations $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt sent out in February each year.)


    We only add this because many people in our Saugeen Shores community see the value of the camp and ask us how to make donations. The costs associated in running this camp are equal to $220.00 per camper for the week.


    We are blessed to be part of a generous community and we are humbled to serve in any way we can. 100% of any donations received are put back into the camp to make the experience even better for the campers!

  • What should my child bring?

    Kids should bring running shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor activities. We provide two snacks for campers throughout the day.

  • Is your building accessible?

    We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities.

  • When do I drop off and pick up my camper?

    Mega Sports camp runs from 9am - 12pm.


    We recommend dropping your camper off at least 15 minutes prior to 9am and arriving right at 12pm sharp to pick them up.

  • How do I drop off and pick up my camper?

    Parents are required to see the registration desk when dropping off and picking up their child. Campers will be given a name tag and coloured bracelet with a code. This will be used to identify who is given permission to drop off and pick up their child unless otherwise stated.

Make a MEGA Impact!

Volunteering at MEGA Sports Camp is one of the most rewarding ways to serve and make a real difference in the Saugeen Shores community. It takes a team of over 80 volunteers of all ages to make this camp a success, and every role matters.


You’ll gain practical leadership and communication skills while being part of something that has a lasting impact on kids and families. High school students can potentially earn all 40 required community service hours through volunteering with the camp.
